We are incredibly thankful for dear family and friends,
both near and far!
Here's a smattering of those
who we were fortunate enough to spend time with in August!
Here are some usual suspects:
the Boswell brothers
Gigi and Great Gpa Beal had us over for dinner

Lil Chick practiced her walking
of Lucy and her friends in their birthday tutus.
And here's what a typical August quiet-time looked like
... everyone reading!
(The English teacher in me simply HAD to photograph the moment!)
And we had a few people over for dinner:
Kate and Spencer Schaber
Grandma Cunningham,
to celebrate her birthday
Michael Carr,
as he was a bachelor for a few nights when his family was out of town
AND THEN THERE WAS CAMPING ...
with the Snyder and Carr Families
We had a wonderful time on the lake,
rented (what the Eggman likes to call) a Party Barge
had campfires
roasted things
cooked and cleaned up
(somehow, even those duties are more fun in this setting, with friends)
The Clean-up Crew
Family Photo Opp
The Carr Clan:
Silas, Ephriam, Michael, Miri and Micaiah
Besties, in the making!
And the kissers.
(It was their anniversary, so we'll allow it!)
Lulu loved the Party Barge, almost as much as the Eggman did!
She was smiles, the whole time!
This is a traditional picture spot for us
at our favorite coffee shop in Sisters, OR:
Sisters Coffee Company
This was the first photo, taken on our honeymoon in 2005
We also we enjoyed time at the river,
with some of the Cunningham Crew.
Scott, Mark and some of the kids created a water slide and everything!
It was an amazingly busy month, filled with love and laughter.
Praise the Lord for sweet family and precious friends.
This Eggman Family is truly blessed.
Until next time, Mama Chick out.
