November. Part One.

So much for rest and relaxation.

I'm fairly sure I read somewhere that pregnant women are supposed to dial-it-down a bit, take naps or at the very least put their feet up - - as much as possible. Well with an active 16-month old of my own and her three pseudo brothers (4, 6 and 8 years old), that certainly wasn't working out for me. :)
No complaining here though ... On With the Show!

Oh and did I mention my little sister was getting married in Arizona, at the end of the month? Yes, yes!! So there was the traditional busyness, in addition to the extra preparation for travel and the blessed event. In all honesty, though I felt overwhelmed at times, I think I  have been looking forward to this month about as much as the bride and groom-to-be. I just felt like I needed a small (or possibly not-so-small) vacation after it was all said and done. Second honeymoon, Eggman?? Wink, wink.

First and foremost, its always a must to get out and enjoy
November sunshine, in Oregon!

Thanks to a tutorial (and much coaching) by a good friend, I was able to to also "fix" a pair of preggo pants! This was quite the under taking for me, but it worked and they stay up ... well, as "up" as any pair of non-button pants can stay!

I love, Love, LOVE when Shaun reads to Lulu!!
And she's actually starting to read back!
One of their favorites is Five Little Monkeys.

I think someone is a ham,
and is quite possibly ready for Broadway!

Lil Chick loves her some Wilma.
And Wilma, (seemingly) happily allows her affectionate advances!

A wonderful day spent with friends, Lilly and Chelsea!!
And like many other 16 and 20 month-old,
they were rather entertained by the good-ole stairs.
Good thing they were (I think) recently vacuumed! Thanks Eggman!

Shaun, showing off one of his many skills.
If memory serves, he proceeded to flip or something equally spectacular!

 And Lil Chick cleaning.
Give the girl a rag, and she's all over it.
Perhaps the wee one sees me cleaning too much?
Good excuse to lay off for a few months, until the nesting kicks in!!

Finally, what could be more fun on a no-school day than games, games and more games?! Not much! Among other things, we had a blast doing relay races, playing chubby bunnies, making and flying paper airplanes and seeing how many licks it really does take to get to the center of a tootsie pop.

November.
Have over.
Check.
Now on to packing ...

Until next time, Mama Chick out.
